It takes great pics in really dark settings or really bright settings. I took a few videos with it as well and the sound quality is great as well.
The only con that I can think of is that if you move around a lot while taking your photos it will turn out blurry. But I only had 5-6 blurry photos out of 400, so it is merely a very minor inconvenience.
